There are five things you can do to increase your value in the eyes of college coaches. You can work on those things this summer. If you do, you'll reap the rewards this fall.

In this episode, Jon Fugler helps you get an edge on other recruits. The five things he covers will put you in a class of your own. Follow through on them and you'll set yourself apart.

For instance, one of the things Jon covers is to develop and show leadership qualities. When a coach watches you, he or she looks at more than your talents. He watches how you interact with teammates. If you emerge as a leader, combined with talent, you're moving up the list fast. Jon gives you suggestions on how to develop your leadership skills.

This summer is your opportunity to work on the five areas Jon presents. You have the time, so go for it before the busyness of fall arrives.

In your race to the scholarship finish line, the key is to keep as many options open as possible. That means you need to maintain the interest of college coaches all the way through the process.

But how do you do that? Coaches seem to lose interest. It's easier to keep their interest rather than trying to win it back. In this episode, Jon Fugler shares four solid actions you must take to keep college coaches' interest long-term.

This is the first in the summer recruiting series. You'll need to maximize our recruiting time this summer. It's the one time of year when all sports are out of season, making it easier for coaches to get out and see the talent they are recruiting.
