I came across 2 posts on X on social media that I will cover in this episode of The Athletic Scholarship Podcast. The 1st post was about the announcement that the National Letter of Intent will be eliminated by the NCAA Division I and Division II levels. I will give you the actual announcement and what the NLI was and how it might effect recruiting. More news on the changes will be covered on future episodes. The 2nd post I can across was from a Head Coach of a NAIA level baseball team. The post said the Head Coach just wants prospective student-athletes to contact him directly and not to pay someone else to sent a mass email.
