This week, athletic scholarship expert Jon Fugler answers one of the most-asked questions: How can I get a scholarship when I'm not the best on the team?

You'll learn what Jon has taught athletes for nearly two decades and how his strategy will work for you. Did you know that most scholarship athletes are not the best on their high school team? It's true, yet most families think the opposite. Thus, athletes don't pursue the scholarship that's waiting for them.

You'll gain confidence, clarity and direction by listening. Then you can launch into fall with the strategy that will make it a great recruiting season. Simply by following Jon's counsel. It will make sense and it's easy to do.

Be sure to download the free resources, too, which will help speed up the process.

Ask Jon a recruiting question

Aug 6, 2019

Never underestimate the value of a team. You know the importance in competition. Even if you're in an individual sport, your teammates are important to your success-- and you to theirs.

The same is true in recruiting. Athletes can't do it alone. Parents definitely can't do it without the athlete. But how can you be a great team together so the scholarship becomes a reality?

In this episode, Jon Fugler works through three things the parent and athlete can do to become a great team. Athlete, if you don't have a parent to help you, you can recruit another adult, even your coach to be your teammate in recruiting.

The first two points won't surprise you, but the third one might.
