Episode 211 is an interview with Parker Hanks. He is attending Northwestern University, going into his junior year, and pitching for the Wildcats. Because of the cancelling of the Spring 2020 baseball season, he gets an extra year of baseball eligibility. Parker is a left-handed pitcher and in his freshman season at NU, he pitched in almost 40 innings. He started in some of the mid-week games, relieved in some weekend games and finished the freshman season starting in conference games. Parker pitched against the likes of BYU, Duke, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Purdue, Maryland, Illinois St, Nebraska and Rutgers.
Parker gives you his reflections on his Ozark High School career, his recruiting memories and his current college experience. He gives his advice on what it takes to prepare for college sports. One of 2 things are happening your Senior year of high school. Either you have committed to a college/team and you will start with your new team soon or you are still working hard to find a fit for you in your sport and academics.
